APPLICATION FORM FOR DAVENHAM CARNIVAL 2026 TITLES

This form is for children applying for Rosebud, Fairy Queen/King, & Carnival Queen/King 2026 Titles.

Children applying for Titles are being asked to provide a write up (max. 200 words) of why they would like to apply for their particular Title and what they are looking forward to bringing to the role. This will form part of the selection process.

Please note that to be eligible for a Title children must either live in Davenham or attend school in Davenham, and must have taken part in the Carnival in 2025 or 2024.

Please note, there will be a charge of £10 per child to take part in the Carnival this year.

We will also be asking our 2026 Title winners to commit to raising some money for our 2026 charity during their reign.

All Title holders are asked to organise their own vehicle to take part in the procession on Carnival Day, e.g. an open top car.

The Carnival is a team effort! We ask every family to help with ticket and programme sales ahead of Carnival Day, and to spend some time on Carnival Day helping to man a stall.

Why Would You Like to Hold a Title at Davenham Carnival 2026, and What Will You Bring to the Role?

I confirm that my child either lives in Davenham or attends Davenham Primary School. I confirm that my child took part in the Carnival in 2025 or 2024. I consent to the use of photographs or video footage for use on the Davenham Village Carnival Facebook & Instagram accounts, in newsletters and publications, as well as for distribution to members and to promote future Davenham Village Carnival events by the Davenham Village Carnival Committee and other media.
